Hardware repairs are performed by our experienced engineers. We can replace any major component from cracked laptop screens to faulty power ports.

We don’t just offer services to replace broken hardware, we also offer upgrades to improve your user experience or the health of your computer. For example, if your computers hard drive is slow, we can offer a solid state drive giving you a faster computer.

Some repairs are not as straight forward as replacing a hard drive or faulty RAM, and we don’t always stock the parts needed for your device. Sometimes we may need to order in the correct part for your laptop, but we will be upfront about the timescale of this during the diagnostic.

Many faults that others may consider a write-off, we think very different. At TechPoint Solutions, some of these difficult repairs maybe routine procedure for us, so be sure to ask us before accepting the worse case scenario!

What does this service offer?

  • We can replace many major components in your PC / Laptop
  • We will always be honest and tell you upfront if we don’t think repair is worth your money.
  • After any repair in our workshop, we always like to perform a system stress test so we can be confident in our repair service.
  • In many cases, you are only paying for the labour of us repairing your device. If additional parts are needed, the parts cost will be extra to the labour cost, but this will be discussed upfront during our free diagnostic.

Is this service right for me?

Some computer problems can be tricky to diagnose, this is why we offer free diagnostic to all our computers! Whilst we won’t be able to 100% diagnose your issue over the phone, our fully qualified technicians will be able to diagnose the issue in our workshop, and present you with a cost effective solution.

Is my data safe?

We always backup our customers data before carrying out any major software changes. Depending on the problem your computer was brought in for, sometimes its not possible for us to retrieve your data such as a Hard Drive failure. Whilst we carry out our best efforts during repair to protect your data, we are not held responsible for any data loss.
